Skip Windows 8 Metro start screen

I have been running Windows 8 now for about 6 weeks, and a couple of things REALLY annoy me. The metro start screen and the Windows-key “start typing” experience.

The windows 8 “Metro” start screen – great for touch, horrible and in the way for non-touch.

A week ago I found a great solution for one of those problems: Skip Metro Suite.

It can fix a bunch of common annoyances with Windows 8, most important of all: Skip the #(¤#¤)## Metro start screen.

SuperGym Deadlift Max and Wolf Games

SuperGym, the gym of the world strongest couple Benedikt and Gemma Magnusson, hosted a deadlift max competition today.

On top of the deadlift max, a new type of competition was introduced: Wolf Games. It was designed by the always smiling SuperGym regular Ulvur (Wolf in Icelandic) and consists of deadlift hold, one armed deadlift and deadlift for reps. You can read more about the event on SuperGym.is.

I only had time to attend some of the competition, but I did manage to take a couple of pictures.

“The Wolf” himself, deadlifting 320kg.
